In 1812 he concluded the Russian-Swedish Union against France and the Russian-English Peace Treaty. Baron of the Grand Duchy of Finland (1812). In 1813, as the head of the Russian military mission at the headquarters of the Northern Army of Prince Karl Johan (Bernadot) participated in the battles at Gros Beren, Dennevitsa, Leipzig.

Sukhteven Peter Kornilievich (1751–1836) – military leader, diplomat. A descendant of the ancient Dutch noble family, in the Russian service since 1783. During the Russian-Swedish War (1788–1790), the chief of staff of the engineers of the Finnish army, then commanded a separate detachment. For the differences at Vyborg and Friedrichsgam, he was awarded the Order of St. George and produced in Major General (1789). In 1801 he was appointed quartermaster General and headed the entire service of the General Staff of the Russian Army. In campaign 1805 he participated in a campaign in Germany, led the blockade of Gammeln. During the Russo-Swedish War of 1808–1809 he was the head of the engineering forces of the Finnish army. Led the siege of Svartgolm and Sveaborg. In 1809 he was appointed ambassador to Sweden. In January – May 1814 he managed engineering work during the siege of Hamburg. After the end of hostilities, he returned to his post of ambassador in Stockholm and stayed here until his death.
