The attributes of the drawer in one of the portraited, the same clothes, the young age of the depicted speak in favor of the fact that the Portrait is the students of IAX. Raspberry caftan should have been worn by students of the last 5th age since 1800. The cut of costumes and hairstyles of young people also correspond to the beginning of the XIX century. It is known that in 1803, to obtain gold medals, students of the portrait class of IAH were set by the program “Imagine two students involved in the consideration of different reamps and drawings” (Petrov. T. one. With. 441). A group of artists is quite consistent with the content of this program. This is probably why the picture was reproduced. Moleva in a book on professional art education in Russia under the name “Portrait of three academicians” with dating 1803.
