The artist is Belsky
The moralizing allegorical picture for the classes of the educational society of noble girls.
Picturesque apprentice a. And. Belsky was awarded the title of an appointed artist for the noble maiden “cartoon with the Russian and French poems, which was made for the founding in 1764 of the Imperial Educational Society”. According to the testimony of n. P. Cherepnina, four panels („Do not lie”. “Ne Mentes Point”, „Do not harm any animal and do not embitter him “. “Ne Faits Mal à aucun animal et ne l’ aigrisses Point”, „Do not never celebrate “. “Ne Soyes Jamais Oisive”, „Do not do evil and do not annoy anyone “. “Ne Faits Mal Ni Tort a Personne”) were “cool wall paintings” of the Smolny Institute. In 1771, Belsky fulfilled by order A. F. Kokorinova four similar panels with moralizing verses for the educational school of the Academy of Arts (IAX). The location of these works has not been established.
