Vorontsov Semen Romanovich (1744–1832) – diplomat, count (1797), infantry general (1797). Senator Senator R. And. Vorontsova, brother e. R. Dashkova, President of Ra. Brought up in the house of Uncle – Chancellor M. And. Vorontsova. Member of the Russo-Turkish War 1768–1774. He resigned Major General (1776). In 1782 he married e. AND. Senyavina. From 1782 a messenger in Venice, ambassador to London (1784–1806). Author “Notes on the Russian Army”, “Notes on the internal administration of Russia” and “Autobiography”.

It is depicted in the vitzmund of the general of the army infantry with the Order of St. George 3rd degree (cross; 1770). Tape and star of the Order of St. Andrei the First -Called (1798) are attributed later.
