Volkonsky Grigory Semenovich (1732–1824)-prince, general of the Russian army, participant in the Russian-Turkish wars. His name is closely connected with n. AT. Repnin (on the daughter of which g. With. Volkonsky was married), p. AND. Rumyantsev, a. AT. Suvorov, m. And. Kutuzov. From 1803 to 1817 Orenburg military governor. The father of the Decembrist of the prince with. G. Volkonsky.

It is depicted in the uniform of General-General of the Russian army infantry of the reign of Catherine II with the Orders of St. Anna (star and tape) and St. George 4th degree (cross with a bow in a buttonhole).
