Alexander I Pavlovich (December 12/33, 1777. Saint Petersburg − November 19 /19 December 1825, Taganrog) − The eldest son of Emperor Paul I and Maria Fedorovna, the Emperor of the All -Russian, a protector of the Maltese order (since 1801), Grand Duke Finland (since 1809), King of Poland (since 1815). After the Patriotic War of 1813 and the foreign campaign of the Russian army, he had a huge international authority. At the Vienna Congress (1814−1815) initiated the creation of the Holy Union of European monarchs (1815), which himself headed. Waged victorious wars with Persia (1804−1813), Turkey (1806−1813) and Sweden (1808), as a result of which East Georgia (1801), Finland (1809), Bessarabia (1813), Azerbaijan (1813) were attached to the Russian Empire. Reigned from March 12/24, 1801 to November 19 / December 1, 1825.

Depicted in the uniform of the Life Guards of the Preobrazhensky Regiment with the orders of St. Andrew the First -Called (star and tape) and St. John of Jerusalem (Maltese).
In the cat. 1980 – early 1800s. Dates back on the grounds that in 1802 the cut of the uniform was introduced in which Alexander I was depicted in the portrait. In 1803, he folded the title of Grassmaster of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem and stopped wearing "Maltese" Signs.
