Pavel I Petrovich (September 20 / October 1, 1754, St. Petersburg − March 12/24, 1801, St. Petersburg) − The son of Grand Duke Peter Fedorovich (Peter III) and Grand Duchess Ekaterina Alekseevna (Catherine II). Emperor All -Russian, Grand Master of the Maltese Order. Killed as a result of a noble conspiracy. Reigned from November 6/17, 1796 to 12/24 March 1801.

Pavel I (1754–1801) – son of Grand Duke Peter Fedorovich (Emperor Peter III) and Grand Duchess Ekaterina Alekseevna (Empress Catherine II). Since 1796 – Russian Emperor. Killed as a result of a noble conspiracy in the Mikhailovsky castle in St. Petersburg on March 11, 1801.
Pavel is depicted in the uniform of the headquarters officer of the Life Guards of the Preobrazhensky Regiment with the Orders of St. Andrew the First -Called (tape and star), St. Anna (Cross) and St. John of Jerusalem (Cross and Star). The study showed that the face of Paul I was written by Borovikovsky. Valveh is written by another artist. Dates back on the grounds that the uniform in which the emperor was represented on the portrait was introduced in March 1800 and was canceled at the end of the same year.
