The artist is Belsky
Apparently, it is a free “ruined” copy. Valeriani to the opera “Mercy Titovo” (1742, GE), placed in honor of the coronation of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna on May 29, 1742 in Moscow. Similar works are located in the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Museum-Reserve “Tsarskoye Selo”.
According to information with. AT. Usacheva, three architectural projects a. Belsky was acquired for the Hermitage Empress Catherine II, two of them in 1799 were transferred to the Gatchinsky Palace.
