Bezborodko Alexander Andreevich (1747–1799)-diplomat, state secretary (since 1775) and chief-hofmeister of Catherine II. Son of the General Judge A. I AM. Bezborodko. Since 1780, a secret adviser, from 1786 a member of the State Council, from 1787 headed a collegium of foreign affairs. Since 1785 Count, since 1796 the brightest prince, from 1797 state chancellor. Collector, philanthropist, member of the Russian Academy, honorary lover of IAX. Depicted with the orders of St. Andrew the First -Called (tape and star), St. Alexander Nevsky (Cross) and St. Vladimir 1st degree (tape and star).
