Korsakov Alexey Ivanovich (1751-1821). He received education at the artillery and engineering school. Favorite Paul I. Lieutenant General from Artillery (1797), director of the artillery cadet corps (1797-1799), since February 1800 inspector of all artillery. Director of the Mountain Corps (1803-1811). Depicted in an artillery uniform, with the orders of St. Alexander Nevsky (tape and star; 1801), St. Vladimir 2nd degree (star and cross) and St. John of Jerusalem (Cross; 1800).

Order signs were rewritten from August 3, 1800 (awarded the Order of John Jerusalem) to June 26, 1802 (awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree (?) who is not on the portrait). The star of the Order of St. Anna (1799) on the right side of the chest. Tape of the Order of St. Anna, reached over the left shoulder, is rewritten to the tape of the Order of St. Alexandra Nevsky (over time, Anninsky tape „manifested" On the surface of the canvas). On the neck on a black tape, the Order of St. John Jerusalem. Star of the Order of St. Vladimir of the 2nd degree lowered down, and in its place the star of the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky (September 15, 1801). Engraved e. And.
